Hello and welcome back to Polyblank! Today we look into the world of blind art and blind painters. Frankly, I didn't think there were many but I was pleasantly suprised! I even interviewed the only born-blind painter alive (and in art history!!!).
These are all incredible artists with their own invented unique techniques of painting. I wish I could've touched upon some more art made by disabled painters but I decided to keep the video just focused on eyesight.
I also wanted to disprove the myths surrounding the eyes of Monet (claims that his cataracts influenced his art) and Van Gogh (claims that he was colorblind)
