Being an athlete comes with a lot. In college, you are 'working' so that school is paid for while being criticized and talked about if what you produce isn't up to par. Everyone knows that athletes and fans interact daily. What isn't quite as sure is if these same fans understand that athletes are people who just happen to be a little more talented and skilled but are still humans.
