Johnny Depp is getting emotional about his return to Cannes Film Festival. The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor was teary-eyed as he and his co-stars debuted their film, “Jeanne du Barry” in France on Tuesday night. At the premiere, he and his cast mates were met with a seven-minute standing ovation and according to Variety, it was an impactful moment for Johnny, who was reportedly "taken aback" by the response. The Golden Globe award winner was seen waving to the crowd and hugging his colleagues as they received their praise. In the movie, Johnny stars as King Louis XV and speaks French in the film. It is his first project back on the big screen following his controversial and highly publicized legal battle with his ex-wife, Amber Heard.
