Gauri Mishra, a child prodigy, is the only pianist in the country to have been awarded the prestigious Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2020 (National Award) by the Honorable President Shri Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for promoting Indian Classical Music on the Piano.
She is a graded artist at All India Radio, and was recently honoured with the ‘Kala Karnadhar’ (Youth Artist of the Year-2024) Award by the Government of Haryana. She has served as the Brand Ambassador for the Swachh Bharat Mission, MCG-2023 (Gurugram).
Beginning her journey at just 4 years old, she set world records by becoming the Youngest Piano Player to perform a solo concert before a live audience at the age of 9 — a feat officially recognized by the India Book of Records and many others. She has completed her musical education — Grade 8 with Distinction from Trinity College London, Prabhakar with First Division from Prayag Sangeet Samiti.
She has captivated audiences by her performance in India’s Got Talent, and multiple solo concerts at prestigious auditoriums, performed alongside celebrated international musicians, and collaborated with renowned cultural ambassadors worldwide. Notably, her performances with Korean, French, and jazz pianists highlight her passion for connecting diverse musical traditions.
Beyond music, Gauri is a TEDx speaker-AISG46 and a passionate advocate for social and environmental causes.
