CNN has blasted the Democrat Party during President Donald Trump's address to Congress.
As politicians from both sides of politics entered Capitol Hill, CNN took aim at the Democrats for not engaging with Trump’s cabinet.
CNN Political commentator Ashley Allison said this is “not a pathway” to bipartisanship.
“The Democrats are not even acknowledging the cabinet right now, I just don’t remember that being standard … they’re not engaging, this is not a pathway to bipartisanship,” she said.
Democrats Jasmine Crockett and Maxwell Frost stood up during Trump’s address to leave the lower chamber.
Ms Crockett took off her jacket to reveal the back of her shit which had the words “resist”, followed by Mr Frost who removed his coat to reveal the words “no kings live here”.
Following their leave, a cohort of Democrats stood up and followed in pursuit.
Many Democrats that remained, held signs blasting the Trump administration, with some saying “Musk steals”, “save Medicaid”, “false” and “lies”
