There are some stars who are willing to take the easy way out, but Tom Cruise isn’t one of them! This A-List actor insists that he doesn’t need a stunt double to pull off some over the top moves in his film. After he got his pilot’s license for the original “Top Gun,” we can’t wait to see him perform aerial acrobatics in Maverick. He was also the first actor to perform a HALO jump, and the wire heist scene from the first “Mission Impossible” was a lot trickier than it looks. Although he has amazing movies, he does still get injured like when he went rock climbing or rode a mechanical horse in “The Last Samurai.” In “Rogue Nation” he held his breath for 6 whole minutes and in “Ghost Protocol” he climbed the enormous Burj Khalifa. There isn’t too much this star won’t do on film if it means not having to use CGI instead.

What do you think about the fact that this famous actor insists on doing so many of his own stunts? Does it get you all the more excited to see him in action or do you think he should start leaving them to the professionals?
