Zoe Saldaña and Selena Gomez’s new film “Emilia Pérez” recently had its Los Angeles premiere! The actresses sat down with Access Hollywood’s Scott Evans to reflect on the special night. They also praised the screenwriter and director Jacques Audiard and shared their hopes for how the musical crime comedy will resonate with viewers into the future. Zoe and Selena also spoke about how they were fans of each other before making the movie and shared their appreciation for each other on and off set. “I am a devout fan of Selena’s. I respect so much just your choices,” Zoe told Selena. “You live by such a truth, at such a young age. You’re just so wise, because your experiences – you’ve managed to re-own them, reclaim them … as a form of medicine to others, and that’s beautiful.” “Emilia Pérez” opens in select theaters on Nov. 1 and is set to debut on Netflix on Nov. 13.
